Job Description

REPORTS TO; LAWMEN'S MANAGER   High school education required   No special training needed     Experience Needed:  •     Customer service and negotiation skills. •     Experience in the firearms niche market.
•     Ability to work independently or as a team member.
•     Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
•     Effective organizational, stress and time management skills.
•     Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
•     Excellent data entry skills.
•     High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
•     Extensive firearm industry and product knowledge (firearms, ammunition, law enforcement gear) is required.   Purpose: The Sales Associate will be highly motivated and passionate about the selling of firearms, firearms accessories and law enforcement equipment. Must be personable and capable of working efficiently on an individual and group level. Lawmen’s and Shooters’ is rapidly expanding, creating exciting new opportunities for career growth. This position will provide world-class service to guests by selling the products and services tailored to meet the guests’ wants and needs and from that, delivering an exceptional in-store experience for every guest that results in increased store sales, profitability and guest loyalty.   Description of Job Duties •     As the first point of contact, you must be able to identify the needs of the consumer.
•     Effectively communicate in person, over the phone and through e-mail correspondence. 
•     Maintain merchandise inventory and replenishing of shelves.
•     Ability to operate Point of Sales System (POS). 
•     Accurately perform cashier duties with handling of cash and credit card transactions.
•     Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment.
•     Retail sales experience is highly preferred.
•     Other duties may be assigned by supervisor.
