Our Georgia Community Action Treatment (CAT) program is recruiting for a Mental Health Clinician. The program serves region 1 and region 2 of Georgia. The CAT program is intended to be a safe and effective alternative for children with serious behavioral health conditions that are creating crisis in the family. Upon successful completion, the family should have the skills and support system needed to maintain improvements made during services. The goals of the CAT program are to:
General Responsibilities:
This position serves as an integral member of a team where safety and well-being of children, adolescent, adults, and all members of the family unit is paramount. The Mental Health Clinician (MHC) will conduct a variety of evaluations to aid in assessment, treatment planning and interventions. The MHC will also support, advocate and link families to community resources to foster self-sufficiency while building on community strengths and cultural groups. Clinicians must be willing to flex their schedule accordingly to provide clinical based services, on call supports, case management as needed.
Hybrid position with TRAVEL community-based duties and responsibilities.
The following licensures qualify: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LAPC, or LAMFT.
