Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, Utah is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Memory Care- NOC Shift -LPN or RN to join our outstanding team!
$28.00 - $40.62 /hr.+ (NOC Differential)Full-time are eligible for:

Position Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents in the Memory Care unit during the night shift. This role requires a dedicated professional who can deliver high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of veterans with memory impairments, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in the Memory Care unit during the night shift.
- Monitor and assess residents’ physical and mental health status regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document resident care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and behavioral changes.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for residents with memory impairments.
- Provide support and education to residents and their families as appropriate.
- Adhere to all regulatory and facility standards related to nursing practice and memory care.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN or RN license in the state of Utah.
- Experience in memory care, geriatrics, or long-term care preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to work night shifts (NOC) as scheduled.
Work Environment:
This position is based at the Southern Utah Veterans Home located in Ivins, St. George, UT. The role involves working primarily during the night shift in a residential care setting dedicated to veterans with memory care needs.
