MGH Health Decision Sciences Center: This is an exciting opportunity for an entry- to mid-level research assistant who is interested in working on shared decision making and patient-centered research projects. Under the supervision of the Project Manager and Director and according to established policies, procedures, and detailed instructions, the incumbent will serve as Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) within the Health Decision Sciences Center (HDSC). This position is funded through external grants including the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).Job Summary
Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.; maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Additionally, it provides input into determining study subject suitability and input into recruitment strategy. Performs data analysis, interpretation, QA/QC, and assists in completing reports and presentations.Qualifications

Working Conditions
Normal office conditions. You will be provided a carrel on the days in the office and a MGB standard laptop. As part of the position, the CRC will occasinally be required to attend meetings outside of regularly scheduled hours.
The team is typically in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays and is working remotely the other days. For this position, the amount of time in office may vary with the specific project and from week to week. Patient enrollment or other study activities may require the candidate to be in person at our offices, the hospital, or satellite sites (e.g. MGH Waltham) on different days. We would expect the candidate to have flexibility regarding in office schedule to support project needs.
