Boys & Girls Country of Houston is looking for compassionate, mission-driven Houseparents to provide a loving, structured home for children in need. If you have a heart for ministry, mentoring, and serving youth in a family-style environment, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Houseparent, you will live on campus and serve as a parental figure to a cottage of children (ages 5-18), providing emotional, spiritual, and academic support. You will work alongside a Home Life team to create a nurturing home that fosters faith, personal growth, and life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide daily care, supervision, and guidance for children.
 ✔ Serve as a Christian role model and encourage spiritual growth.
 ✔ Support children's education, guidance, and social development.
 ✔ Plan and participate in recreational and family-style activities.
 ✔ Manage household routines, meals, and chores.
 ✔ Partner with staff, teachers, and counselors to meet each child’s needs.

Qualifications:

🔹 Must be a married couple or single adult with caregiving/teaching/children's ministry experience
 🔹 Strong faith and ability to integrate Christian values into daily life
 🔹 Experience working with youth or in a caregiving/mentoring role preferred
 🔹 High school diploma or GED required; higher education a plus
 🔹 Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements, Driver's license/Social Security required.
 🔹 Desire to live in a faith-based community
