Patient Services Representative (Front Desk) - Clive, IA

Location:  12499 University Ave., Ste. 210, Clive, IA  50325

No Nights. No Weekends. No Holidays.

At Capital Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, we help patients return to the activities they love. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused professional to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and support front desk operations.


What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and care
  • Manage front desk operations and coordinate patient flow
  • Verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Answer and direct phone calls from patients, vendors, and partners
  • Respond to patient requests and manage communication in EMR
  • Support medical records and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, providers, and leadership

Location & Coverage

  • Primary work location: Clive clinic
  • Occasional coverage at nearby clinics as needed to support team coverage

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of customer service or front desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Healthcare experience and medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Familiarity with computer systems (EMR experience a plus)
