About the Position

Spinal Tech Prosthetics is looking for an experienced Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician to join the team at our prosthetic central fabrication center in Louisville, KY. Our seasoned team is looking for a leader to keep and expand on the excellent foundation we have established. We are part of EQWAL U.S. and building a national C-FAB to support both EQWAL clinics as well as many private facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom prosthetic devices based on patient needs.
  • Vacuum forming experience
  • Lamination skills
  • Minor mold correction experience
  • Collaborate with fabrication members to ensure coordinated execution of fabrication.
  • Document all patient device specifications in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance
  • An eagerness to learn and grow

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. frequently.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and manual dexterity for device fabrication and adjustments.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods during documentation or administrative tasks.
  • Adequate vision (with or without corrective lenses) for detailed work and device alignment.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools, materials, and components with precision.
  • Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to dust, chemicals, and fabrication equipment noise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years of experience
