Sales Associate with Food Services (Sbarro)

JOB SUMMARY 

 Do you have a passion for great food and friendly customer service? OXXO USA is seeking a dependable and energetic Sales Associate with Food Services to join our team at one of our retail locations featuring Sbarro, a beloved brand known for its NY style pizza.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll help prepare and serve freshly made Sbarro products while creating a warm and welcoming environment for every guest. You’ll play a key role in blending OXXO USA’s convenience excellence with Sbarro—bringing flavorful meals to our customers every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for on-going activities related to the successful operation of a retail store that has a restaurant/food preparation area. 
  • Conduct daily activities to ensure efficient store operations. 
  • Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment. 
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and address any customer concerns. 
  • Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, cook, and assemble Sbarro menu items, and other fresh food offerings, following company recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all food items are made fresh, properly handled, and consistently presented throughout the day.
  • Provide excellent customer service—greeting guests, taking orders, answering product questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in all food prep and service areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and rotating products to maintain freshness.
  • Handle register transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Keep dining and service areas clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Promote the Sbarro brand by providing a great experience for every guest.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • One (1) or more years of experience in food service, restaurant, or retail with food handling (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Food handler certification (must obtain within required time after hire).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move product, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
