Join a long‑standing, three‑doctor small‑animal practice with an awesome, supportive team. 

Reno Animal Hospital is looking for a full‑time Associate Veterinarian to join our thriving hospital in Midwest City. Whether you're a new grad seeking mentorship or an experienced DVM ready to grow, you’ll find a collaborative environment, loyal client base, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. We’re open a half‑day on Saturdays and refer out after hours cases.

About Our Hospital

We’ve served the community since 1983 and operate in a facility equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography (body & dental).  We also offer laser treatments and have a full Idexx in-house lab. This includes equipment for CBCs, chemistries, the SediVue for urine analysis, and the InVue DX for real-time cytology and blood morphology. We’d love someone excited to share in the surgical caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Treat and dress wounds
  • Perform surgery on animals
  • Test for and vaccinate against diseases
  • Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
  • Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
  • Prescribe medication
  • Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality care

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
  • Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
  • Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
  • Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
  • Strong fondness and understanding of animals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of animal behavior
  • Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
