The Lead Teacher is responsible for the provision of care and education of a group of children from birth through age 12 under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader. S/he provides opportunities for development of self-esteem, social competence, and intellectual growth. The Lead Teacher works with the Assistant Teacher while implementing daily lesson plans and provides a nurturing, stable and safe environment for young children.

Education:
Required:
Graduate or certificate holder from an accredited higher education institution with concentration in Early Childhood Education (B.S., A.S., CDA, or TECTA) or a high school diploma/equivalent plus 5 years of leadership experience in a child care setting.
