We are now seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is available to work a variety of shifts.

Position Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Sunshine Cares, you will play a vital role in the care and support of our home based residents. Qualified candidates will have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance. If you are a caring, compassionate individual who is dedicated to improving the lives of others, we encourage you to apply. Current Shift Needs: NOC Shift 2-3 days per week during the week. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Follow care plans and provide emotional support to residents.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Utah is preferred.
  • Ability to become trained and certified as a Nurse's Aide within 4 months of employment is mandatory.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
