Job Description

We're currently looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to grow their skills in a collaborative shop environment. Experience level is flexible - we're open to early career machinists with strong fundamentals as well as seasoned professionals.

As a Machinist, you will:

  • Set up and operate machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions
  • Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools
  • Make adjustments to ensure quality, accuracy and efficiency
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Follow safety, quality and production standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and fellow machinists

Experience requirements include:

  • Machining experience preferred but flexible - we value aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, team-oriented mindset
