Job Description
The Unaccompanied Children (UC) Transitional Foster Care (TFC) Lead Medical Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing health services as well as coordinating the provision of timely, appropriate health services for children in care. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining policies and procedures for confidential health record management, triage of health concerns, medical emergency response, environmental health and safety, and post-release health care planning/care coordination. The Lead Medical Coordinator maintains accurate and timely medical records, appointments, and services in accordance with the requirements of the program.
This position is responsible for partnering with other health professionals regarding health and safety standards for out-of-home childcare, childcare licensing requirements, disease reporting requirements for care providers, immunizations of children, medication management. This position maintains knowledge of community health and mental health resources for children. This position must provide child-facing services on-site.
Annual Salary Range: $61,200.00 - $72,000.00

This position will be routinely exposed to typical office noise levels and/or exposure to various weather conditions.
