Job Details

Responsibilities:
• Determine appropriateness of examinations and contact physicians to clarify or modify orders when necessary
• Transfer patients on/off exam tables
• Transport patients through the ER to the CT Scanner and/or radiology department
• Answer telephones in a timely manner
• Communicates with professionalism at all times
• For outpatients, check prescriptions to ensure patient demographics are correct, physician signature present, and reason for exam listed
• For inpatients, check requisitions for accuracy, including verify patient identification, physician's signature, and diagnosis.
• Arrange transport
• Assist in procedure rooms
• Update technologists with appointment status (cancellations, changes, etc).


Requirements:
• Current Radiology students preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills; computer skills also required
• Prior hospital experience preferred



Salary Range

USD $20.26 - USD $28.36 /Hr.
