Visit Grand Junction Intern - Administrative and Content
HIRING RANGE: $18.00 per hour
About the Position:
Visit Grand Junction seeks an intern to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and innovative destination marketing environment. The primary responsibilities for this intern position will involve administrative and data-related work, Official Grand Junction Adventure Guide fulfillment and stocking racks in the community and hosting the Visit Grand Junction Mobile Visitor Center at the Downtown Market on Main on Thursday evenings (July – September).
Each ideal intern candidate should demonstrate a strong passion for Grand Junction and genuine enthusiasm for serving its residents, stakeholders, and guests.

Visit Grand Junction, the City of Grand Junction’s Destination Marketing Organization, deploys marketing targeted toward potential visitors outside Mesa County to attract travel and tourism to the area. Visit Grand Junction is responsible for enhancing Grand Junction’s brand to create an attractive destination while elevating its public image as a dynamic place to live and work. Through the promotion of travel and tourism, Visit Grand Junction strengthens Grand Junction’s economic position, which provides a sustainable, diverse, and consistent economy that supports businesses and enhances the quality of life for residents. The team consists of dynamic individuals who are culture-focused, innovative, driven, intellectually curious, and dedicated to supporting the tourism industry while reaching departmental goals that serve the Grand Junction area community and guests.
