Internship Description: 

We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Production Intern to join our Design and Communications Team. This is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience in every part of the video production process—from pre-production and filming to editing and publishing. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Opportunities for Graphic Design projects as well.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with all aspects of video production, including planning, filming, and editing
• Edit video content for use on social media and websites
• Photograph events as needed
• Organize and log footage, manage file storage, and maintain media assets
• Support creative brainstorming and concept development
• Research visual trends and recommend fresh content ideas
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and project goals

Requirements

Requirements:

• Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Audition, and The Creative Suite a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and storytelling instincts
• Ability to take direction and work both independently and in a team
• Comfortable meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks
• A portfolio or sample reel is strongly encouraged
• Academic Majors (if any preferred): Film, Media Production, Design, Communications, or related field

Compensation:

Working Conditions

• This position is 20 hours/week
• This internship is based in the Washington, DC office
• Interns MUST be in the office on designated team days (3 days a week) and specifically on Wednesdays for cohort touch base.
