The Registered Nurse will perform initial patient assessments, formulate and update care plans, and provide safe, high-quality nursing care. They are also responsible for patient education, discharge planning, and supervising unit personnel while maintaining compliance with hospital policies.
Qualifications
You have graduated from a school of nursing and possess a current WV license, with required BCLS certification. You have previous nursing experience, preferably one year in a critical care area, and can effectively recognize the unique needs of patients of all ages. You must be able to cope with highly stressful situations, set priorities, and maintain knowledge of nursing services policies and procedures.

Job Description
Seeking an RN to perform the following duties:
The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job.
The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below; and specific functions may change from time to time.

EDUCATION AND FORMAL TRAINING:
Graduate of a school of nursing with current WV license. BCLS
required. PALS and ACLS preferred or obtainable within six (6) months.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in nursing required.
One (1) years’ nursing experience preferred in critical care area.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must demonstrate the ability to effectively recognize the unique needs of
patients of all ages including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents and
geriatrics. Must be able to cope with highly stressful situations and set priorities for multiple tasks. Must possess knowledge of nursing services policies and procedure manuals. If on call, must be able to report to duty within 20 minutes.
