Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented parts receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming inventory, ensuring all parts are accurately recorded through our inventory management system, and maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient receiving/storage area. This role is vital for supporting supply chain and service technicians by ensuring parts are available when needed.

  • This is a non-exempt, hourly position with a pay range of $25-$30 per hour, based on experience. 
  • The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.in the Elko, NV office. 

Essential Functions

Receive and Inspect Shipments:
  • Verify packing slips against purchase orders, and inspect all incoming items for damage, quality, and quantity.
  • Report shortages, overages, or damaged goods promptly to the supervisor.

Inventory Management and Documentation:

  • Accurately record received inventory in the inventory management system, label parts, and properly store them in designated areas.
  • Manage shipping paperwork, including BOLs (Bill of Lading), packing lists, and returning documents for incorrect or damaged goods.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Safely operate a forklift. 

Support Operations:

  • Assist with cycle counts, annual inventory audits, and help pick or pack orders as needed.

Communication:

  • Coordinate with purchasing and service departments regarding backorders, incorrect, or damaged parts.
  • Maintain effective and collaborative workplace relationships, treating others with respect.

Safety:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following all housekeeping requirements.
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment. 
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safe and efficient work procedures.
  • Report to work each day on time and fit for duty.

 Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or inventory management preferred.
  • Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required (experience with ERP or inventory software, such as Viewpoint or SAP, is a plus).
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 100 lbs., and standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work as a team, as well as independently.  
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and additional background screening as required by regulation and/or industry practice.
