Job Status: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available

Pay Range: $21.00 per hour PLUS shift differentials ($2.00-$6.00 per hour depending on the shift)

Available Shifts

  • Weekday Evenings (Full-Time, $2.00 per hour shift differential): Monday through Friday 4:00pm-12:00am
  • Weekend Days (Part-Time, $4.00 per hour shift differential): Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm, every weekend OR every other weekend
  • Weekend Overnights (Part-Time, $6.00 per hour shift differential): Saturday 12:00am-8:00am and Saturday 8:00pm-Sunday 8:00am, every weekend OR every other weekend
  • PRN Status: Chose your hours from any available shifts, must work at least 1 shift every 2 weeks

About the Job

We are currently seeking Crisis Care Coordinators to provide crisis services over-the-phone, and in-office at our new Crisis Stabilization Center, Alex’s Place. Crisis Care Coordinators provide short-term crisis intervention to youth, families, and adults experiencing an emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric crisis. Our team works closely with law enforcement, schools, and other medical providers to stabilize acute or crisis situations and connect individuals with continuing mental and behavioral health services based on their needs, strengths, and preferences.

Requirements

Eligible applicants must have or be eligible for one or more of the following qualifications: 

  • a bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 1+ year of experience in behavioral or mental health services
  • a law enforcement officer with 2+ years of experience in the law enforcement officer’s field
  • an EMT with 2+ years of experience in the EMT’s field
  • a certified peer support with 1+ year of experience in behavioral or mental health services
  • an RN with 1+ year of experience in behavioral or mental health services
  • a bachelor’s degree in a non-human services-related field, associate’s degree, or high school diploma (or equivalency) with 2+ years of experience in behavioral or mental health services, and 30 hours of crisis and mental health in-service training (in addition to the required 30 hours of department approved training)

Additional Qualifications

  • 30 hours of crisis response training or a willingness to attain it
  • Some travel is a requirement of this position, so a valid driver’s license is required
