Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern.

The hourly rate for this position is 20.77-25.96 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Eaton Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to work with our dynamic team in a fast-paced, aerospace and defense manufacturing environment at our growing Davenport, Iowa facility. Eaton’s internship program offers real world experience and mentoring through a variety of activities and assignments.  Pay is calculated by your college status.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Work on integrated product teams to improve manufacturing processes and procedures.
•    Participate in capacity improvement, cost-out and/or lean manufacturing projects, analyzing proposed improvements and implementing change.
•    Update work instructions and procedures to improve the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
•    Must be actively enrolled at an accredited institution with a major in Engineering or technical degree (STEM)

•    Relocation is not offered for this position. Must reside within 70 miles of Davenport, Iowa.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Junior/Senior standing towards Bachelor’s Degree in ABET accredited program
•    Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering program
•    Prior related internship or work experience
•    Hands on experience with aircraft or aircraft systems.
