Job Description

JOB SCOPE: Responsible for qualifying leads for new wedding and social catering accounts, support the Director of Catering in entertaining and maintaining relationships with engaged couples and wedding planning professionals to meet and/or exceed food and beverage revenue goals. Support Director of Catering with wedding celebrations and client functions to ensure an unforgettable guest experience.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Qualify and record new wedding leads and maintain existing accounts with couples, wedding planners, and event coordinators to meet/exceed revenue goals through tracking, inputting, and monitoring wedding event inquiries.
  • Prepare personalized correspondence to couples and clients, internal booking reports, wedding event proposals, and file maintenance.
  • Participate in daily business review meetings, wedding planning consultations, pre-event walkthroughs, training, and other catering-related meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hotel including culinary and guest services to deliver a seamless, high-quality wedding experience.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of wedding industry trends, local competition, preferred vendor relationships, and evolving customer expectations.

The hourly rate for this position is $20–$22.
