Job Description
The Silverado Franklin Historic Hotel & Gaming Complex is seeking a smiling face to join our team at the Franklin Hotel as a Laundry Attendant. The Franklin Hotel is a historic 68 room hotel at the top of Main Street in historic Deadwood, SD. Check out its history here: https://www.silveradofranklin.com/about/history.html

Some duties include:
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
• Load and remove items from washing drying equipment
• Sort articles removed from dryers, and fold, wrap, or hang them
• Examine and sort into lots articles to be cleaned, according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required
• Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, to locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
