Job Description
This position is under the supervision of an Ophthalmologist or an Optometrist.
The Ophthalmic Technician utilizes ophthalmic skills to assist physicians in the provision of ambulatory health care services that reflect providers' philosophy and standards of ambulatory health and care of patients.
Safely operate ophthalmic equipment, cameras, tonopen, slit lamp, projectors.
Perform other tasks associated with the clinic operation as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
1 year - Ophthalmic Technician required
2 years - In an ophthalmic practice required
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent - required
College Diploma Ophthalmic Technician - preferred
