Description
General Statement: Advanced Pain Care advocates the appropriate and effective management of chronic pain through a multi-disciplinary approach. Our team of qualified professionals has received advanced training to treat our patients. We believe in providing a caring and compassionate atmosphere to help improve the quality of life for those in pain.
Job Purpose: The Physical Therapist Assistant will work closely with the Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative care to patients.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

SUPERVISION Reports to the Physical Therapist
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduated from an Accredited PTA program with a Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
License: Must posses a valid Physical Therapist Assistant License in the State of Texas
Environmental Conditions: Medical Office environment
Physical Conditions:
· Must be able to work as scheduled – typically from 8:00 – 5:00 M-F
· Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time
· Must be able to bend, stoop and stretch
· Must be able to lift and move boxes and other items weighing up to 30 pounds.
· Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment, etc.

· Clear and precise communication (written and oral)
· Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
· Effectively manages day by organizing and prioritizing
