Job Description

The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting routine tests and inspections on products, assisting the Quality Assurance Manager with data collection. The technician assists with customer and supplier claims as well as assisting with ISO compliance, audits, and training. The Quality Technician participates in special projects as needed and works with other departments to ensure a quality product.

Pay Range: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or commensurate experience in a related field required
  • Knowledge of basic computer applications, notably Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of steel industry and various products
  • Knowledge of computerized document control
  • Ability to problem solve and organize
  • Knowledge of gage calibration systems and gage calibrationst
  • Ability to work 2nd shift, 3:00 - 11:00pm, M-F.
