About the Position

HoneyCar Roanoke is seeking a customer-focused and driven Service Advisor to join our service team.

As a Service Advisor, you are the primary point of contact between the customer and the service department. You will guide customers through the entire service experience—from check-in to vehicle delivery—while ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

This is a fast-paced, performance-driven role where your ability to communicate, organize, and build trust directly impacts both customer experience and department success.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and provide a professional, friendly service experience
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
  • Write and manage repair orders with attention to detail
  • Clearly explain recommended services, timelines, and pricing
  • Communicate with technicians to monitor vehicle progress
  • Provide timely updates to customers throughout the service process
  • Upsell maintenance and recommended services ethically and effectively
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain strong communication with service team and management

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Automotive service advisor experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Customer-first mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems
  • Valid driver’s license required

Compensation

$50,000 – $100,000 annually based on performance

  • Base pay plus commission structure
  • Earnings tied to productivity, customer satisfaction, and service sales

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • 5-day work week
  • Closed Sundays
