The Metal Recycling General Laborer/Scrap Processor is responsible for purchasing and processing ferrous and non-Ferrous materials.

WORK CONDITIONS While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold or heat, and wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision.
