Description
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Primary helper on at least one line with ability to nest, stack and package material coming off of the line
- Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines
- Transport raw materials from one place to another
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
- Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required
- Trains other employees in basic labor functions
- Operates equipment under strict safety requirements
- Properly fill out coil tags, ensuring footage is correct to aid with inventory
Check finished goods for quality, width, and length
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 75 lbs. and push heavy materials around the plant
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours with constant walking and pivoting on hard concrete surface in a variety of temperatures
