JOB SUMMARY 

Join the NOC team as a Housekeeper in the beautiful Nantahala Gorge. In this role, you’ll work as part of a small, supportive team to keep our guest accommodations, offices, and common areas clean, organized, and well maintained each day. As a service-focused position, a friendly and positive attitude toward guests, vendors, and fellow staff members is essential to providing great service and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Give exceptional customer service and a smile to all guests and staff
  • Clean cabins, bunk houses and motel rooms, including but not limited to: furniture, beds, toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, kitchen equipment, dishes, walls, floors and ceilings
  • Clean all public restrooms, changing rooms, conference rooms, staff restrooms and offices
  • Work with other departments on any special requests for groups or conferences
  • Work efficiently and effectively to complete daily tasks
  • Notify Housekeeping Manager about supply and linen needs
  • Report any maintenance items to Repair and Maintenance or to Housekeeping Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop and twist
  • Ability to lift 40lbs. 
  • Dependable and timely
  • Ability to work flexible hours and various days of the week
  • Ability to sustain productive work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
