The hourly rate for this position is $18.00/hour This is an Hourly position.
Internship open to a student that is able to work year round. Part time hours during the school year with more full time hours during breaks and summer.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Student Intern will be responsible for supporting operations and projects related to revenue cycle functions. This includes, but is not limited to front, middle and back end revenue cycle as well as improvement of revenue cycle operations. The role will provide exposure to financial operations at OSF across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and driven to learn. Exemplifies the OSF mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with OSF policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist revenue cycle in completing normal functions as individual skillset allows:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate tudent currently attending college/university progressing in an accredited program in some area of public health or related field.
General knowledge of health care organizations; medical terminology, data analysis and Epic. Proficient with computer applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work independently and efficiently. Possess strong analytic and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with a team of professionals.
