Overview

Help drive enterprise contract success—we’re looking for a motivated, organized professional to support Managed Care initiatives.

The Managed Care Project Coordinator/Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of key Managed Care initiatives, with a focus on contracting, payor relations, and network enrollment operations.

This role serves as a central point of coordination across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of project activities, timelines, and deliverables. The Project Coordinator is responsible for driving assigned initiatives forward through effective planning, clear communication, and consistent follow-through, while maintaining visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.

This position offers broad exposure to Managed Care operations and contributes to system-wide efforts to enhance coordination, standardization, and operational efficiency across the contract lifecycle.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support execution of Managed Care initiatives, including contracting, network enrollment, and implementation efforts
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, dashboards, and tracking tools to ensure visibility into milestones, deliverables, and outcomes
• Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and escalate issues to support timely resolution
• Maintain organized project and contract documentation, including action logs, issue trackers, rate schedules, and status updates
• Support implementation of new or revised agreements by coordinating across Managed Care, Revenue Cycle, Credentialing, and operational teams
• Assist with payor account coordination, including follow-up on deliverables, contract changes, and operational needs
• Serve as a central point of coordination for communication across internal teams and external partners
• Facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation of key decisions, and tracking action items to completion
• Prepare and distribute project updates, summaries, and reporting materials to support leadership visibility and alignment
• Ensure consistency and integrity of data across tracking tools, dashboards, and reports
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve coordination, and enhance operational consistency
• Support development of standard work, templates, and tools to strengthen project execution and communication


Deliverables

• Project plans, timelines, and tracking tools for assigned initiatives
• Status reports, summaries, and leadership updates
• Meeting documentation, including agendas, notes, and action logs
• Contract and payor-related documentation supporting implementation and coordination
• Contributions to process improvements and standardization efforts


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Experience
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, healthcare operations, or administrative support
• Exposure to managed care, contracting, or provider enrollment processes preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and follow-through
