Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information to enhance their buying experience.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and promote store initiatives.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
  • Participate in inventory management and restocking of products as needed.
  • Engage with customers to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in the home improvement or pool industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash.
  • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and a customer-first approach.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in using computers and point-of-sale systems.
