They will also handle administrative duties including documentation in the electronic medical record, scheduling appointments, and routing messages.
Qualifications
You have completed a formal Medical Assistant Program, or hold a Medical Assistance Certification, or have at least two years of experience as a military corpsman. You are also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.

Job Description
This is a full-time, benefited position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no evenings or weekends required, although shift start times may vary depending on department needs.

Requirements:
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
BLS required in clinical setting for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience:
Patient-centered, team-oriented, collaborative, proactive individuals
One year of experience as a MA in an outpatient setting preferred
Experience working in a Family Practice environment, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
