Job Description
Plum Creek Regional Animal Medical Center is a well-established, progressive three-doctor small animal practice with a nearby outpatient clinic, offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. For over 25 years, we’ve proudly maintained AAHA accreditation, reflecting our commitment to high-quality veterinary care!
We provide comprehensive services including wellness and preventive care, urgent and illness care, surgery, endoscopy, acupuncture, dentistry, cold laser therapy, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasonography, as well as boarding and grooming—allowing us to deliver complete care in one place.
Located just east of Crete, Illinois, near the Indiana border, our main hospital is supported by an outpatient clinic only 7.8 miles away in Dyer, Indiana. This dual-location setup offers variety while maintaining continuity through shared records and clients. With easy access to Chicago and Northwest Indiana, our location combines small-town charm with convenient access to shopping, dining, and recreation.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Pay Range: $19 -$23/hr+ depending on level of experience
