Description
Summary
The commercial underwriter/credit analyst I will perform a variety of duties to support the commercial lenders, board loan committee and board of directors in the determination of the customer’s credit worthiness. Will analyze current credit data and financial statements of individuals and/or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. Prepare reports with this credit information for use in decision-making. This will include both existing and new relationships, as well as, both commercial and real estate loans. Ensure compliance with loan policy and bank regulations. Responsible for the accuracy of the credit underwriting packages.
Location: This position is an on-site role based in Metairie, LA. Candidates should expect to commute and be physically present in the office according to the standard schedule or as otherwise agreed upon with their manager.
