ASRC Federal is looking for Summer Engineering & Design Interns to join our team.

We are a small to mid-size, multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm specializing in commercial-type infrastructure and facility design for the United States Air Force, serving specifically at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma. Our office is growing our services and currently has multiple opportunities for interns, in a variety of architectural and engineering disciplines.

We are seeking qualified applicants to assist the current, experienced, design team to serve the needs of Vance AFB Base Operations Support (BOS) Contract. Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site building condition assessments, gather data, run, and format reports to analyze data. (Training will be provided.)

• Provide engineering and design support to various projects in preparation for bid process, such as conducting research, gathering data, drafting in AutoCAD, assisting in quantity take-offs for preparation of cost estimates, and other miscellaneous administrative tasks.

• Compile technical reports, procedures and project documentation as required.

• Work independently on assignments but must also be able to work in a team environment.

Requirements: 

• Must be working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or Architecture.

• Must be at least 18 years or older.

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements, with ability to pass Government background investigation.

Preferred Requirements: 

• Prior internship experience at Vance AFB in support of the BOS Contract is a plus.

• Experience working in group projects in academia or industry is highly desired.

• Knowledge of Auto CAD and Solid Works a plus.

• Proficiency with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Responsibilities:
