Job Title: Busser

Department: Front of House / Operations
Reports To: Manager/Shift Manager 

Position Summary

The Busser supports the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. This role ensures tables are cleared, sanitized, and reset promptly while assisting servers and other team members to deliver an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear and clean tables quickly and efficiently after guests leave
• Reset tables according to restaurant standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, floors, restrooms, and service stations
• Refill water, beverages, and condiments as needed
• Assist servers with food delivery when required
• Remove trash and transport dishes to dishwashing areas
• Stock service stations with utensils, napkins, glassware, and supplies
• Respond promptly to guest and team member requests
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Good communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying trays or bus tubs

Work Environment

• Fast-paced restaurant setting
• May include evenings, weekends, and holidays
