Responsibilities

The Animal Production Technician assists with daily animal care, including breeding, farrowing, and sow and piglet management. Responsibilities also include maintaining health and vaccination programs, managing nutrition, and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

You have a high school diploma or GED and experience in the swine industry is preferred but not required. You are willing to train the right individual for assisting with daily animal care in breeding and farrowing, including sow and piglet care, health, vaccination, nutrition, and record keeping.
