Get to Know Your Team:  

  • UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist shall be responsible for providing a full range of age appropriate physical

therapy services including assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an

interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.


Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy approved 4-year bachelor’s degree program.
  • A minimum of six (6) month’s experience in an acute, rehabilitation of outpatient setting.
  • Current professional licensure in the State of Texas.
