About the Role:

The Dental Assistant plays a critical role in supporting dental professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a safe and efficient environment. Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program.

• Valid certification or licensure as required by the state of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and infection control protocols are followed.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and providing patient comfort.
• Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, including updating medical histories and scheduling appointments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions to support ongoing dental health.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
