Job Description
Inserter position works in a newspaper manufacturing environment. The position supports the start to finish process or processes for inserting Advertising inserts into a variety of newspaper publications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Insert level 1 duties completed successfully
- Jog and feed multiple inserts and place into hoppers properly
- Make repairs when the hopper stops for a miss and double
- Fix strap machines and reload the strap
- Operate pallet jacks
- Shrink wrap the pallets
- Stage the pallets/cages in the proper area
- Move pallets/cages in and out during zones beginning until the end at stacker
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to endure the rigors of a production environment. Lifting, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping and seeing operational environment activities.
