Join us in making the world a better place by understanding the present and protecting the future.    Position Summary As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you will collaborate with the local utility operator to inspect natural gas infrastructure that powers your community, providing a critical service to ensure public safety. You will receive training on performing leak surveys using sensitive equipment, identifying abnormal operating conditions (AOCs), and patrolling client infrastructure. Additionally, you will document and report your findings to the utility operator.  Regional & Work Environment Considerations  You will work in a variety of settings, including indoor and outdoor; Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures. QualificationsPrimary Responsibilities Conduct leak surveys using sensitive equipment.  Identify and report abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) and leaks.  Patrol and inspect infrastructure.  Document and report findings accurately.  Provide seamless customer service through customer interaction to address utility-related concerns.   Operating motor vehicle and performing work safely in the field.   Job Qualifications and Skills: Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.   This job is considered “safety sensitive” and is subject to pre-employment background check and drug screening that includes screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.  Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day on various terrain and various weather conditions carrying a minimum of 25 pounds.  Must be able to pass operator qualification (OQ) testing during training to become qualified to perform work in field.  Willingness to work overtime if needed by the Company.  Must be familiar with using a smart phone / laptop to collect field data.  Must be self-motivated.  Have strong communication skills and pay attention to details.  Pay: $22- 24 per hour, depending on experience Benefits: Weekly pay Company paid items such as a vehicle with gas card, smartphone, laptop Company paid uniform, Safety boot voucher, and PPE  Opportunities for paid overtime Paid training with no experience required Medical, dental, vision insurance and more Company paid life insurance policy Paid holidays and personal paid time off (PTO)  401K with company match after 6 months Career advancement opportunities   Working at Hydromax USA: At Hydromax USA, we’re committed to a culture that embraces safety and strives for excellence.
