Job Description:
• Ensure quality products using the appropriate daily check methods.
• Ensure presence of validated and up-to-date work instructions and temporary work instructions and that they are followed.
• Ensure traceability: all appropriate information is recorded properly and legibly.
• Record rejected parts and their related problems on DMN’s or problem forms. (Supplier and internal rejects daily.)
• Validate production through visual inspections.
• Follow up on problems and corrective actions.
• Work with production to develop corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Do complete analysis of customer returns and relate appropriate analysis information to Quality Engineer for review.
• Perform In-Process-Inspection audits daily for bumpers and small parts and report process related defects to the Quality Engineer.
• Return all non-conforming internal products to the attention of the Quality Engineer.
• Other tasks as directed by manager.
Main Missions:
Ensure the quality of product via in-process inspection and audits of products manufactured, traceability, and reject; contain all non-conforming fascias and components within department.
