Worley is seeking a Graduate Process Engineer for the Long Beach, CA office location. In the position you will, under supervision, performs a variety of assignments through the application of basic engineering theories, techniques, and practices. In development mode being trained in the utilization of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes.

Typical responsibilities include, but or not limited to, the following:

·         Generation, and review of the Process deliverables: H&MB, PFD’s, P&IDs, equipment specifications, hydraulics calculation, contingency analysis & process instrument data in their assigned area.

  • Assissting Process studies as needed.
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering.
  • Assist and support senior personnel within the process engineering team.
  • Communicate effectively with the process engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

What you will bring

 Technical and Industry Experience

  • Awarded a 4- or 5-year technical degree in science or engineering. Will be actively registered with a local engineering governing body where required by law.
  • Knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and process engineering specific software.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

Required:

  • A recognized and relevant engineering degree or relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering.

Preferred Experience:

  • Typically, 3 or less years of relevant process industry experience.

Salary Range $77,263-$113,622
