GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Floor Worker is responsible for packaging, palletizing, and moving our restaurant paper products within our facility. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists Machine Operators in finishing packaging and palletizing finished product.
  • Moves pallets and individual boxes of finished product throughout our facility. 
  • Ensures areas around machines and walkways are kept clear of obstructions and are safe.
  • Assist in labeling boxes. 
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Knowledge of safe manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to be thorough and efficient.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work safely.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Education, Experience, and Certification: 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Involves working in a manufacturing setting with machinery, loud noise, and forklift traffic.  Must exercise caution and wear appropriate PPE (safety toe shoes, eye protection, ear protection). 

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday (3:30PM -12:00AM)
