Qualifications

The Rehabilitation Specialist role requires a minimum of a high school diploma plus three years of related experience, or an Associate's degree plus one year of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field. Experience working with adults with serious mental illness (SMI), including vocational and rehabilitation services, is essential. Candidates must also possess current CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications, a valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years old.

Join one of our clinical teams as a Rehabilitation Specialist and provide support to our members to help them increase their employment and independent living skills. You will work in partnership with a vocational rehabilitation counselor, community rehabilitation program providers, and other parties to help members increase or maintain involvement in learning, working, and social activities. You will also work closely with the clinical team to ensure all services in members’ individual service plans are implemented.

REQUIREMENTS

Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements

  • Must possess one of the following:
    • Master's or bachelor's degree with a behavioral health or related field
    • Bachelor's degree in a non-related field PLUS one year related experience
    • Associate's degree in any field PLUS one year related experience
    • High school diploma or equivalency certificate PLUS three years' related experience
  • Minimum one year experience working with seriously mentally ill (SMI) adults
  • Experience with vocational, rehabilitation, educational, and social services for SMI adults required
  • Must maintain current CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications (offered through Southwest Network)
  • Must maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and car insurance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
