Overview of Position - LPN

 The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care consistent to licensure under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Duties include data collection, medication administration, and patient teaching regarding illness, medication and maximizing states of wellness.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Requirements

• Current licensed as a Pratical Nurse in the State of Florida
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required
• One (1) years' experience within behavioral health or psychiatric hospital settings is required.
• Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Background in managing complex patient cases involving acute pain management, or psychiatric emergencies is advantageous.
