Job Description

Position Summary

The Service Technician for the production facility will be responsible for locating, inspecting, and repairing trucks and charge cabinets that are located at the production facility, performing retrofit and software updates, and assisting with field service work in the local area.

Position Responsibilities

  • Understand the complete vehicle at a systemic/component level to effectively and efficiently inspect, diagnose, and repair
  • Represent OEV in the utmost professional manner
  • Utilize Remote Monitoring System and the Service Record Keeping System
  • Accurately record all service activity in the service Record keeping system
  • Provide a secure remote location for tools, parts, and other necessary items
  • Travel as required for initial training and to meet service team goals and customer needs

Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; related technical degree preferred
  • 1 or more years experience in automotive or electrical industries
  • Entry to Intermediate level experience with MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and TEAMS.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing superior customer service
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to handle many functions at one time and adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedule
  • Ability to set and prioritize goals and achieve them per a schedule
  • Ability to execute and follow through on instructions given by supervisor
  • Ability to articulate clearly when writing including composition, spelling, and punctuation.

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have

  • One or more years’ experience in parts/warehouse
  • Experience with ERP systems
