Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support our Quality Control Laboratory as a Lab Assistant Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in laboratory operations, data entry, and assisting chemists with various tasks. The intern will be responsible for maintaining glassware, performing simple testing, and supporting the team with light laboratory duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean laboratory glassware to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assist chemists with light laboratory duties as needed.
  • Perform simple testing under supervision.
  • Support data entry tasks related to laboratory records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and operational procedures.
  • Participate in additional assigned projects to enhance laboratory efficiency.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Interest in pharmaceutical quality control and laboratory operations.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
