Qualifications
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. This role requires a graduate from an approved LPN program with 0-2 years of experience and a current LPN license. You will collaborate with the healthcare team, administer patient care including IV therapy, and maintain patient documentation, while also participating in continuous professional development.
Job Description
Join our Labor and Delivery team at UPMC Western Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse!
You will provide care and IV therapy following UPMC guidelines and State Board Regulations, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other licensed UPMC provider.
This position requires working 36 hours per week, daylight hours with shift times being 7AM to 7:30PM, including rotating weekend and holiday shifts.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
